My name is Carl.

I am a Software Engineer at Google on the Play Store Subscription Platform team, which owns the platform and services that manage subscriptions made through the Play Store.

I have a keen interest in back-end development, databases, infrastructure, distributed systems and data-intensive computing.

I am a graduate of the University of Toronto Scarborough, where I studied Computer Science, and the Schulich School of Business, where I studied Finance.

Before graduating, I did an internship as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon on the Buying Experience Architecture team, where I worked on designing and implementing a framework for collecting and rendering debugging information in Amazon retail pages.

Prior to that, I did an internship as a Software Developer at CaseWare on the AnalyticsAI team, where I worked on implementing APIs for new features in the AnalyticsAI product.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching great films, listening to dope music (especially live!), visiting our National Parks, playing Nintendo games, and seeing the world!
